Why is Chesapeake Shores no longer on Netflix in the US and Canada?
Let’s start with the painful news that Netflix once carried the show in some form a few years ago.
In fact, both the US and Canada lost the show back in 2017. The US lost a mountain of TV content in April 2017, including such as X-Files, House md, and more.
For anyone who has been following our site for a long time, you know that Netflix in the US has put its emphasis on Originals, but ultimately that strategy is the only one as other providers prefer their own platforms.
As a result for Chesapeake Shores, in the US and Canada, the show owners have chosen to make the show part of their headlines for their own streaming services.
In the United States, Hallmark Movies Now is the best place to watch, hosting all four seasons. Amazon Prime also reportedly carries a single season of the show.
In Canada, the show is not available on a streaming service everywhere, despite JustWatch reported that 2 seasons are on Super Channel’s streaming channels.

Outside of the US and Canada, almost every region of Netflix has access to the Hallmark Channel show.

When is season 5 of Chesapeake Shores coming internationally on Netflix?

As with season 4, season 5 (as we recently reported) will appear weekly for 10 weeks on Netflix from August 16, 2021.
