Notification of House Rent Allowance KPK 2021
The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Department (Regulation Wing) has issued Notification No. FD (SOSR-II)2-5/2021/H.R Allow on 07-07-2021. House Rent Allowance KPK is a form of compensation given to employees to allow them to rent housing that would be more expensive than a government rate. It is also called HRA or house rental allowance. The allowance helps governments keep housing costs low for employees and their families by allowing them to live off-post. Government employees pay on average several percent of their gross income on housing, which can be higher than the cost of living in the general population.
The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has pleased to increase the rate of House Rent Allowance to the Civil Servants, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa w.e.f. 01.06.2021 as per breakup. Hence All Autonomous/Semi-Autonomous/Medical/Teaching Institutions/Other Institutions and Authorities. Similarly, under Provincial Government shall adopt this notification within their respective organizations. Likewise, with the approval of their Competent Forum within their available resources. However, Housing subsidies for new entrants shall stand discontinued forthwith. Most noteworthy, All other existing terms and conditions regulating the House Rent Allowance will continue to apply.

Furthermore, the Principal Secretary to Governor, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and the Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Hence the Secretary, Provincial Assembly, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and All Heads of Attached Departments in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Similarly, All Divisional Commissioners in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and All Deputy Commissioners in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Likewise, the Registrar, Peshawar High Court, Peshawar, and All-District & Session Judges in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Chairman, Public Service Commission, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and the Chairman, Services Tribunal, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Hence the Chairman, Provincial Ombudsman Secretariat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and All Heads of Autonomous/Semi-Autonomous Bodies. The Director, Treasuries & Accounts, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and All the District Comptroller of Accounts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Similarly, the Director, Local Fund Audit, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar, and The Director-FMIU, Finance Deptt. With the request to upload the same on FD’s Website.
